Your team drafts every project in a Project Briefs database — sections for Summary, Decisions, Milestones, Risks, and Owner. The moment a brief is marked "Ready to Launch", the scenario triggers automatically.
⏱ Triggers when Status → "Ready to Launch"
Make creates a new page in your Status Board database, prefilled with the project name, owner, source brief link, start date, and Status = Draft. The board now shows the project from day one — no manual row creation.
⏱ Runs immediately after the trigger
The scenario writes four H2 sections into the status board page using Notion blocks: Summary (paragraph), Key Decisions (numbered list), Milestones (to-do blocks any reviewer can check off), Risks (callout blocks everyone sees at a glance).
⏱ Happens in the same cycle as the row creation
Back on the original project brief, the Status flips to "Active" and a Status Board backlink is recorded. Anyone scanning the Project Briefs database can see at a glance which briefs have launched and follow the link to the live board.
⏱ Marks immediately after blocks are appended
If the brief has the "Notify team" box checked, the scenario fans out a short email to your team list with the status board link, name, and a one-line summary. Otherwise it silently flips the board row to Active and stops. Either path produces a tidy, current board.
